Angel of Mercy Shelter is the first domestic violence shelter that allows pets of all types.

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, up to 40% of domestic violence victims do not escape their abusers because they are concerned about what will happen to their pets when they leave.

At Angel of Mercy Shelter, the whole family is cared for including pets. Pets need therapy and healing too and we provide an environment to help both families and pets who have been victims of domestic violence.
