Angel of Mercy, Shelter of Hope, is an organization dedicated to saving the lives of women, children, and their pets, who are in domestic violence situations. Funding is needed for the property and the buildings to shelter their bodies, and for programs and education to nurture their souls.
Angel of Mercy envisions a campus approximately 2 acres which will provide for an administration building, which will also house individual meeting and counseling rooms, as well as the medical exam rooms, a small auditorium for meetings, 5 “casita type” buildings for housing (to accommodate up to 150 residents), a community building which will contain kitchen and dining facilities, entertainment areas, i.e.: televisions, computers, sofas and chairs, library shelves, and indoor play areas for children, and finally a kennel building for housing of the pets of residents. These buildings will encircle a central courtyard which will contain play areas for the children, gazebos and sitting areas for the residents, and meditating areas for peace.
Angel of Mercy, Shelter of Hope, will provide an environment of safety, security, nurturing and hope. We plan to provide whatever resources a domestic violence survivor may need, from a safe place to heal, a place to learn, how to parent properly and manage her money. Angel of Mercy, Shelter of Hope, will offer counseling sessions, medical care, veterinary care, legal assistance, financial management, whatever may be deemed necessary to provide a victim with the tools to get away and stay away from her abuser, and build a better and healthier life for herself, her children and her pets.
As Angel of Mercy is starting from the ground up, funding is needed for the purchase of the land, for the building of the campus, filling it with all materials and on to making the campus a safe, nurturing, comfortable place for victims to heal by providing programs ranging from childcare, money management, and from empowering sessions to employment coaching.
All donations to Angel of Mercy are taxable as it is designated a non-profit organization under the federal guidelines for a 501(C)(3) organization.
